It happened with the mp3 and now it has happened with ebooks. The idea – whilst originally scorned at first – has started to really take off.

When mp3s were first unveiled to the general public, there was an outcry of derision. People argued that they would never catch on as you would have nothing physical to show for your collection, just a few 0s and 1s on a screen. Likewise, the audible crackle at the start of a vinyl or cassette record would be no more, as would the whir and stop of the CD.

Then, as people began to realise how they could store thousands of albums on a device they could fit in their pocket, downloading a world of new music as they went, the change began.

Now, this is happening with the ebook.

The public outcry around the ebook was arguably even more vociferous and impassioned than that of the mp3. The feel, smell and experience of a book would not be better or even equalled by a sterile screen, people argued. But then, of course, the idea began to win people over. Stacks of holiday reads were whittled down to just one discreet, narrow device.

On the go you could scroll through a catalogue of thousands of books, downloadable at the touch of a button, whether you’re in your living room, on the beach or at the top of a mountain (signal provided, naturally).

Now, the popularity of the machines has been galvanised by the fact that the Man Booker Prize judges were given ereaders for the first time in 2011, allowing them to access all of their small mountain of books in a neat and orderly fashion.

So whilst the naysayers may have made claims against the ebook, it appears as though it will be a resounding success and is certainly not about to go anywhere quickly.

We refer to the Periquillo Sarniento, a work written by Jose Joaquin Fernandez of Lizardi, during the era of independence of the North American country, back in the year 1816.
Periquillo Sarniento is a book of adventure comics, in know the life of main character, Pedro Sarmiento, who by his ingenuity, point of humiliation of his companions during their school life.
Periquillo Sarniento becomes a boy left, which is an example of what can happen in those families who give much freedom and few limits on their children, i.e. move from greed to lawlessness, together with bad friendships. Product of this bad initial education, Periquillo Sarniento will be later involved in some events rather unpleasant, and its destination leads him to be clergyman to get involved in matters corrupt as the swindle. The destination would be playing a bad past and is that despite falling in love comes to know the misery of heartache and up to the death of his partner. Finally Periquillo Sarniento escapes from their daily lives and traveling toward the distant China to where entered his life, going back to the past and analyzing the course of his life, and in this way get a life more quiet. Without doubt a peaceful end to a life so crazy.
If we should define this work, we could say that this is a very advanced for the time with visions of modern education and a severe criticism to the society of that time.

The English language is tongue more widespread at world level and in turn, the official language of many countries like the United States, Britain, Ireland, Canada, among many more. Some quantitative data reveals the importance of this language in different areas:
-More than 75 percent of the scientific literature is written in English.
-More than 50 percent of the web sites are edited in English.
In any place in the world is possible to find people with minimum knowledge of English. While in many countries is not the official language, is regarded as the “language of the economy”, why, has a leading role in the business world and their knowledge, has positioned itself as an essential requirement for more competitive advantages in the labor market or simply to make a field trip.
The Center for Studies CCC, an institution pioneer in Distance Learning in Spain, has a very interesting proposal for the language learning through the innovative method “English with a thousand Words”. The same has gained great popularity since it was made known publicly some success stories on the part of students, businessmen, secretaries and other students belonging to different areas both in Spain and in the United States, among other points of the planet.
This system works because it is easy, short and appealing for a student. Its premise argues that only needed 1000 words to communicate and learn English. The technique that uses “The Maurer Method” to learn the language is validated (the Institute Maurer and CCC guarantee in writing that every student the end of the English course at a distance learn the language in a 85 percent level that enables you to read and carry a conversation without drawbacks).
The course material includes 20 short manuals and 10 CDs. Unlike traditional methods, there is no an illustration, or pictures, or dictionaries neither do nor is there to memorize grammatical rules! With each manual learn 50 new words, while with the CDs practicing pronunciation of the new terminology adapted in different phrases and settings.
This system of learning is ideally suited to constantly and want practice the language from anywhere with a portable player. In addition, it is possible talking with other partners or with the same professor via the Internet thanks to the “Audio-chat”, which complements the learning program.
If you’re thinking to strengthen your knowledge on the English language or simply want start from scratch, you can find more information about the method “English with a thousand Words” on the web site of CCC. Remember: in a very short time, you can acquire the skills needed to maintain a conversation fluent in English and everything from the comfort of your home!

We refer to the always force Lazarillo de Tormes, a novel that tells the adventures of the character namesake, Lazarillo de Tormes or Lazaro Gonzales Perez. This Spanish novel of anonymous author, dating from 1554 and is environmental in land Iberians.
Worth mentioning that the Lazarillo de Tormes is written in the first person, as if the main character we had his life, and begins his narration us about a child orphan who must work to keep, and it is because their work be guide to a blind man, who live a series of experiences aluminates, and then go to a work with in religious who is a person of few feelings. We also see passages of his life in a couple, their beliefs of infidelity and, hence marriage based on a relationship of distrust, and hence the arrival of marital failure.
Lazarillo de Tormes has a peculiar form of storytelling, is written as if it were a letter, telling a friend what happens.
It is important to note that if we discover the history of the time, the Lazarillo de Tormes is an excellent way to do so because the reality with the described both characters like situations and environments is really impressive and education.
Undoubtedly, Lazarillo de Tormes is a magnificent narration of life itself, of happiness and misfortune that roam around the life of any human being.

On this occasion we will talk about one of the books highlights not only of the Peruvian literature but of literature in Spanish. We refer to the Heralds Blacks, written by the great Cesar Vallejo, one of the best poets in history.
The Heralds Blacks is a poemario which was published in the year 1919, which brings together a series of writings, (69 to be more precise), which were written for 3 years by Cesar Vallejo. Among the poems we can find 6 sections, which are Fixtures agile, Divers, of the earth, imperial Nostalgia, Thunder and Songs of Home. The first division consists of 11 poems, the second by 4, the third by 10, the fourth by 13, and the penultimate by 25 and the last for 5.
The Heralds Black is written with a language modern, very intimate, full of symbolism, of metaphors, anxiety, of existentialism and why not says, of pessimism, of guilt and pain. This is your so famous phrase “There Are blows in life, so strong … I don’t know! Blows as hatred of God; as if before them, the hangover of everything suffered …”
From the time that appeared, The Heralds Blacks got a great criticism from the literati specialized, however, in that time was not a success of sales because only sold few copies. Those who are followers of Vallejo argue that in that time the thought of Vallejo was very ahead of its time and the commercial failure was due in any case that was a misunderstood at that time.

It is clear that we refer to the film The Godfather (in their 3 sagas, the 1972, the 1974 and 1990), directed by Francis Ford Coppola. Because you must know that the first film of the saga, which tells the history of the Italian family Corleone was based on a novel of the same name created by Mario Puzo, an American writer of Italian descent who cares passionately world of the mafia and organized crime.
If you animas to read the book published in the year 1969, you know that differs from the beginning, the presence of a narrator knows everything, of characteristics omnipresent and omniscient that is the One who tells us the plot. The book of The Godfather is divided into 23 chapters through which we can know the character main Vito Corleone, who leads the band Sicilian that operates in New York between 1945 and 1955, however we can also interfere with his family life and know their children, fundamental fact about the importance of the family in the Italian mafia; but also Puzo emphasizes the relations of the family Corleone with the policy, and perhaps it was therefore that outraged many people when it was published.
There is no doubt that this book is an excellent way to know the history of New York of the decade of the 40 and 50´s, and even more knowing that Puzo was accused by many as one who dared to transgress the Omerta that is a pact of silence imposed by the families Sicilian of that time.

The Scientific Method is an essential part of an investigation either. Through this system step by step we can reach certain conclusions based on the observation repetitive and experience to discover certain phenomena of nature.
As you know to carry out the laws of physics, chemistry, astronomy, and the biological, the scientists conducted a series of procedures deductive to test their ideas with reality and reach certain assumptions that are then transformed into laws if they can be applicable to the majority of phenomena.
The Scientific Method is based on certain principles. We already know the course of the uniformity of the nature and the premise of the Natural classes, but are not the only. On this occasion we will talk in the first place on the premise of the Record. Do you know what?
Assumes that the nature conditions exist that remain relatively constant, i.e. that during in specified period some phenomena do not change their basic characteristics, at least a significant.
The postulate of Determinism is that denies that an event can be produced by magic or random or accidentally, this premise is that a phenomenon given will be preceded invariably by other events or conditions.
Assumptions regarding the psychological process: researcher accepts the assumption that can obtain knowledge on the world through their psychological processes of perception, memory and logical reasoning.
In short: The scientific methods are the paths or trails to reach the knowing or real knowledge and valid, thus obtaining results through experiments. Its role is to go to the bottom of a problem giving their respective solution, in other words know the reality through our experience and observation in directly or indirectly on the basis tests or examinations.

The science in the same way that creates is also a great source of research because many of their contributions, in addition to surprise, are presented with certain curiosities that any person could not realize.
Some of these curiosities scientific come to light after a period of time or by some type of study parallel to the item. To reach out to discover some of these curiosities has been achieved simply by the deduction, observation or coincidences, on other occasions.
For example, is public knowledge that the brain works more when the person lying? In fact, but thanks to a study of magnetic resonance to a group of individuals by the School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania was discovered that certain areas of the brain light up when people lie.
Well, through the magazine “Quo” given to know that the action itself of lying necessary to that the increase in the brain activity. However, one of the ways to discover such lies is through the sweating because blood pressure increases and dilate vessels causing changes, including the sweating.
With regard to the memory, do you know that dream helps to consolidate? This is possible in the stage of deep sleep because at this stage neuronal activity meets important role in the time that the memory keep behaviors throughout the day.
